Default Airbag disconnect codes/instructions???

I'd like to disconnect the passenger side airbag. Can anyone provide me with instructions and the codes?
Thanks, Wayne

Best way is to get a switch professionally installed. Go to www.ntsb.gov for list of installers.

Plase do a search ... this topic has been covered and covered and covered.

That being said ... I really don't think this is a modification to do yourself ... unless you've been authorized by the NHTSA to do it ... in which case you wouldn't be asking the question. Don't forget that it's illegal and you'll be opening yourself up to (1) potential lawsuits and (2) lots of problems when you go to sell the car

I find the following site to be very useful for airbag information ... http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/airbags/

Have fun,
Derek

I did do a search and found plenty of opinions. There was a site that supplies instructions and codes for $85 but they have not got back to me. Hasn't anyone tried this?
