airbag light on from changing seats...
i have a MY06, ap2_david has a MY07
we swapped seats.
6 months ago, i disconnected the battery and hit the brakes, removed the seats and changed out my carpet.
connected the battery after i put the seats back and connected the seats.
no airbag light.
tonight, did the same procedure but noticed the airbag light.
i am wondering if the light is on cause they are from different years although the MY06 and MY07 are pretty much the same.
if i reset the airbag system, will i still get the light cause they are incorrect seats?

Hmm.. the simplest explanation is always he easiest overlooked. Double check your connections, if all is well.. redisconnect your battery and try it over. As far as I know, no.. there are no differences in the seat sensors.
