Default AIRSCARF

Why can't we have this? My top would never go up, only in rain! I'd be the only fool ridin around in the snow with my top down.

I've nitpicked about these things since I got the S. I've always wondered, "why didn't they make the seats auto 7 way adjustable w/ heating capabitilies?" or "shouldn't a $34k car have one of those awesome Gentex multi-purpose rear view mirrors?" Everytime that happens, though, I remind myself that Honda's R&D spent millions of Yen saving weight while keeping costs down yet still have a perfect 50/50 weight distribution. This car wasn't designed with luxury in mind, so if I want anything to make myself more comfortable, I should buy it and not blame Honda. We save that bitching for Honda Care.

AIRSCARF
Not the only one. I drive the S with the top down always. Today it was 34 degrees and I was out in it. I have been out when it was 24 degrees and the top was down. No 'airscarf' needed.

Wow, thats a pretty nice feature, but as a generalization, I would say most people I notice in SLK's do not drive with top down in cold weather, especially because they have that nice retractable hardtop, thats one the S is really missing, even the miatas now have the option of the retractable hardtop...
