Default alignment question.......

I have changed lower springs before, and I think I should do an alignment.
but the shop said because I changed the lower springs so they can not do this for me, there are some differant from stock, and they don't have data for aftermarket springs.
so what should I do???

Do you want an aggressive "race" alignment or do you want a stock alignment?

If you lowered your car then you probably want some negative camber and are looking for a slightly more aggressive alignment get those values and take them to a "smarter" shop.

The stock alignment does toe-in a bit and cause uneven wear. That's natural to enhance cornering. Go with stock.

Is it a common consensus that the alignment should be checked even on brand new cars since it's a strong possibility that it is out of whack from the factory?
