Default all carbon fiber s2000

has anyone built a all carbon fibered body s2000? I keep seeing carbon parts and relized if you had like 15 grand to spend on carbon fiber you could do the whole exterior.

Except the rear quarter panel because its attached to the body permanently......

Also, if I had an extra 15k to spend. I probably would have just:
A) bought a used elise
B) Do some hookers and blow

No wonder my previous S was totaled out when that panel was damaged along with suspension damage. Didn't know about the permanent attachment.

How much of a weight reduction was it for that S with the carbon fiber panels? He probably gained it all back in stickers... Looks nice though

the rear quarter panel is part of the chassis frame... removing it for CF is asking for the car to fall apart...

That Cwest Race car pic that i posted is probably one of the lightest S2000s out there.. and 15k would only get you 2 doors and a hardtop

As I recall those who have done serious CF replacements were disappointed in the weight save. The removable panels are pretty damn light. The weight is in the chassis stiffening since it is a roadster.
