Okay , hey everybody .... this is something I was part of on my old forum ( A Nissan Skyline forum ) Im looking to start it here since S2KI is much more then just a forum . It is a family and something families do is look out for each other ! So my idea is to start a thread of where everyone lives and if they have a spare bed room , tools , lift , free food/drink , a cold beer , garage.... etc for another S2000 owner traveling. Im not talking like a weeks stay at your house or eat up all the food in your fridge but just a place to stay if one of us gets too tired on the road and just happens to stop in your town or breaks down anywhere near you . So if you guys think this is a good idea and you would like to be part of it , post up where you live , what you can provide and your phone number and the user that will be traveling through your area and needs a place to crash can call you and get your address. I really hope this jumps off , it is a great thing ! - Drew

Putting personal information in a publicly viewable forum is retarded and a great way to get spammed to death. Many mailcious entities have forum crawling software and scripts looking for addresses, names, phone numbers, and email addresses that could potentially lead to spam or worse case scenario, IDENTITY THEFT. You need a place to say, PM someone.

I really wish that our world wasn't like it was, but unfortunately there are too many selfish people out there who just want to screw everyone and take their money. This would be a great concept in a more perfect world, or even if our forum was only view able to members/what have you.
