Read the thread..? The engine is still being pulled apart, they've been busy at the shop.

Oh, right, those, forgot. They're actually in the car, but I'm going to the shop tomorrow. I'll take pictures of em (I don't have a scanner) and post em tomorrow evening.

Wastegate pressure, 14 psi. The 4psi gain above 10 psi is offset by the lowered compression.

17 psi, secondary plot AFR/boost:

17 psi, estimated crankshaft hp (dyno tested to be within a few percent of manufacturers specifications within the shop):

A few things to note (grr, just typed this and it got eaten by s2ki):

- For those of you running 6 psi with speedcraft/stage6 kits, you are fully spooled by 4500 rpms. Note though, that I am not really into full boost until a little later, 5300 rpms for 17 psi, probably closer to 5800 for ~25 psi.

- Note that we cut it at around 9200, not 8900. We'll be able to go higher as soon as I get the fuel issues figured out (return line too small? malfunctioning FPR? bad fuel pump relay or electrical? aliens from outer space?), which, incidentally, may have been the cause of our head gasket issues. I'm pulling the logs from the EMS this week, and we'll take a peek.

- Power for the vtec cam drops off rather rapidly at 8700+ rpm. A more aggresive vtec lobe on a custom cam may be in order to utilize all that "Mike Simon" space up top (11000 rpm?) and make some power there.

As always, I'll keep you guys informed.

Wow, 400HP (give or take) already pretty damn amazing, Chris. I hope you can get it stable at the extremes you're looking for. You've got some major cajones keeping at this.

Can I just say -- 11000 RPM under full boost would have to be nirvana. Too bad you can't have it for Dad's day today.

My piss-ant 180HP (give or take??) at atmospheric pressure is just perfect for me on a day like today. I was bouncin' off the rev limiter gettin' on the highway today (yes, I know, sloppy driving... )
