No way in hell were you close to a DUI having had one beer and that beer having been consumed an hour before getting pulled over. Your body disposes of one drink per hour so you should have been pretty close to 0. I don't know if they let you look at the breathalyzer they were using. If they didn't they were yanking your chain. If they did and it read .06 their breathalyzer wasn't accurate. The DUI issue aside, you still drive recklessly and I hope you don't end up totalling an awesome car. I hope you spend some time at a racetrack so you can learn the limits of your car and yourself before you find out the hard way.

I think the fact that SpaceNeedle = Ben was revealed a long time ago. My intentions to come back with a new name was because cthree suggested that I do because some of you board members take this posting business really seriously and also, my name which is highly indicative of my location was deliberately picked so it'd maybe provide hints as to who I am.

And some of you still have problems with me, but, man, it really doesn't matter to me. Never has, never will.

I still think Sunchild is a loser. I admit, I haven't traded posts with him until this one as SpaceNeedle, but in this post alone, just look at what he has to say for himself.

He insults huyto using brusque language outright, straight from the get-go. And then I respond to him being a mean guy and tell him to lay off in a language he only seems to understand. And then he tries to provoke a real-world "discussion" between him and I--calling it out first. And then I call him on it and ask for his flight number so that we can "discuss" the situation as soon as he gets his ass off the plane. And he probably told himself: "if I'm going to put myself out to be a bigshot lawyer from Manhattan, why the hell am I instigating sh-t on some bulletin board about some Honda I drive; but boy I wish I could get out of this small 4-cylinder piece of crap and get that S500, but yet I'm no bigshot lawyer, I got no money, I ain't got no limo perks... I only wish."

So he defers and plays it off because other people are going up against him and asks me if I'm going to give him a ride from the airport. And after the tone changes a bit, people start wanting to beat his ass sometime at some meet and then he starts implying he's some lethal weapon because he's way into Karate and Judo? No offense, but it just cracks me up when I hear whiteboys screaming out they know martial arts. In Sunchild's dreams, he's kicking Bruce Lee and Jet Li's ass while blindfolded.

And now, instead of moving on, he actually answers frayed's questions about his law firm... only to basically tell us he's far from being a bigshot lawyer and confirming the world's view that 99 percent of lawyers are f-cked in their heads, fu-ked in their values (my brother's cool .

In the past and even now, I say crap that's out of line, but at least I don't go around claiming to be a bigshot at anything. I've shard my honest experiences and that's it. and that's how it's going to be. and that one time he posted something about his glovebox and his keys being locked out and how he managed to open it or something... he's all saying.... this and this could've happened, but good thing I'm a strong guy. hahahah what a f-cking loser!

haha, it's been fun, but that guy is played out through and through. too many of them NY hotdogs gone to his head.

Kizneda...

Only went cuzz some of my friends were spinning and went to support them. Thats why I went home early, but on Fri. Sat. a lot better croud.

Just kidding around. I live in Mtn. View, but I've never been to Limelight - just passed by. The line always seems very young, but I'll take your word on it that Fridays and Saturdays draw a better crowd.

I really thought I was pretty close to the legal limit. I've read somewhere that it is less than one beer an hour to stay under the limit, but they might've been trying to scare me by saying that. It worked, cuzz it sure straightened me up. An F'ing DUI is totally the pits dude, it'll cost a couple grand, week in jail, and community service plus your ride being impounded right?

So lets say we're drinking beers here. How many can you have in an hour before your past .08, just something that is probably useful to know in CA.

Hmmm... Cops lying? I can't believe it.... I thought they were all so honest So when they took you to the station, they made you leave the car where it was? Then they chaffeured you back to it huh? Thats was cool, how long was the ride to the station? That probably reduce the alcohol level a little bit.

I think it just better to be safer than sorry when drinking and driving though. The consequences are pretty grave, and after a few beers, it isn't worth the risk anymore.

Hey reverand Sunchild!! What's your problem!!
Are u some frustrated rookie trying to make people talk about him? Only thinking you own a S2K make me sick, please poor superman, sell it and buy a big bullshit SUV, this will fit you much better!
Oh yes, I'm thinking... maybe you are some agent, some policeman!! that's not impossible!! LOL
You suck man!! never seen a redneck like you here! Do you think you are THE perfect driver here? You surely don't worth the time i'm loosing writing to you but I just can't stand reactions like yours.

Huyto, I'm sincerely happy that you didn't hurt you, your passenger or your car! I'm sure many of us have already been a little bit shocked in driving situation. Your story is allways usefull, and very effective, because it remember us to keep things safe while driving.

You can't expect the same results Strike had though, because...Ahem...I know Strike, and let's just say he can absorb more alcohol than someone weighing 145 ;-)

Yeah, yeah, the same is true for me

Anyway, standard sized drinks of any kind are .03 per drink. That means a standard beer, or a shot. Something like a Long Island Ice Tea is going to hit harder, so be aware. So, every hour you shed *about* .03, depending on your mass, so you'd have to weigh like 40 lbs to be at .07 after one beer Anyway, if you drank 1 beer, and it was an hour before, you actually blew like .01.

Technically, you, as a 145lb person, could drink 2 drinks in 2 minutes, and be below the legal limit. If you're bigger, like over 220, you could drink 3 and be below. Of course, it doesn't mean you're safe, it just means you're legal.
