I have made a decision. I don't need want two cars any more. I was going to sell the S2K but couldn't bring myself to do it. Luckily, on the other side of the (very cramped) garage was my trusty Acura Legend and since the Legend just passed 100k miles it was time for it to go.

So starting now, I am a full time S2000 Driver. I plan to do this for the next few months and see how it goes. If it doesn't go well, it 330Ci or CL time.

Wish me luck. Any pointers on driving the S2K as an only car.

oh gosh, good luck.

For brief amount of time my CRX was my daily driver. Couldn't handle it...and it's got TONS of cargo room because of the hatchback design.

But perhaps it's the race seat, and and linear springs that makes it an uncomfortable daily? Cruising around in my buddy's Stook, that car is posh...hehe.

Legend was a 91 auto. Top condition but getting up there in years. Luckily my girlfriend drives a truck in case I need to haul stuff that will not fit the S2K.

We can all learn something from Jake here.

Get a girlfriend with a truck as soon as possible.

That's the best advice for those using the S2K year round.

I've had the stook for about 3 weeks and it's my only car. I rarely find the need for a backseat so that really isn't an issue. When I need to seat more than one passanger, someone else has to drive. So I save on milage. Trouble is, I want to drive _everywhere_ now. Driving has become fun again. Running major errands on a Sunday (grocery, Target run, mall, etc.) gets kinda tough because of the small trunk but I just plan better or make a pit stop home to empty the trunk. Good luck!

My advice as a daily driver myself is to drive the crap out of it and have fun Just think, now you can enjoy it full time.

...and keep your right foot planted and the tach above 6000RPMs

I use mine as a daily driver (for the time being -- getting a truck in the fall) and absolutely love it -- makes getting up and going to work a bit easier!
