Default Amuse exhaust help!!!!

Alright guys, need some help. At first, (3 years ago) I had the HKS exhaust. This was way before the dyno days (and being naive) but I loved the sound. Well, now I have my second s2k and went with Invidia (way too loud!). So, I sold it to my roommate and now I'm in the market again. Well, I'm almost ready to sink the $2k for a single Amuse exhaust. But here's a couple of questions:

Rick's single outlet piece? Worth the money? Fitment? Looks like stock?

Amuse sound? Anyone local that I could meet? (Not worried about looks or quality, just sound)

Worth the $2k? That's a lot of money, hell I'm half way to a supercharger.....hmm, opinions please...

Best price? I had a couple local shops say they can beat a lot of the online prices... If you don't mind, where did you buy and how much?

Thanks in advance, just looking for reassurance. Brandon

yes it is worth the money. fits really good and looks like it came like that from the factory.

r1000 will sound raspy and very, very loud. dual r1 (only comes in extra titan) is pretty damn quiet. regular single r1 and taikyu are a perfect compromise b/w sound and performance. the extra titan version may be a little too quiet(at least for me), it's up to what you like.

i try to only get the best for my car. you have to set your priorities. if you're a student and need the extra cash, go with a T1-R which looks similar and has pretty good gains. the weight savings of the amsue is worth it alone, plus you get good gains if you go with the single(+8whp).

IMO the single outlet piece looks a little tacky because it doesn't sit flush with the bumper.

I really appreciate the opinions guys. Still don't know what to do. Would love a decent exhaust but would love the supercharger as well. I'm going to sit on it for now but even if I was set on the exhaust.

I still have the question: Single or dual????????

IMO, don't base a 2000 dollar decision on other people's opinions. You have too see and hear for yourself to make a truely informed decision

Good luck!

I wish I could hear the exhaust on my own. Anyone have any soundclips or anything? Trust me, if I could, I would love to see pics and hear the exhaust for myself. Anyways, thanks for the help. I believe I'm going for the single R1 exhaust. Thanks, Brandon
