Default Can "rare" S2K color combinations be quantified?

There has recently been speculation on this board about which S2K color combinations might be considered truly "rare."

Nominees have included: '01 GPW with red/black, '02 black with all-red, '02 GPW with all-red, and there has been talk that the '04 silverstone/sebrings with red/black are hard to come by and therefore might be "rare."

To gauge possible percentage distributions, might some members who have sold S2Ks offer their count assessments (nominees) of the color combinations they would have typically expected to see if viewing an inventory list of 100 S2Ks in their selling region?

Would it be possible for the board administrators to slice and dice the s2ki registration data base information and list the various yearly color combinations on a percentage basis?

of course even with colors like silverstone there are probably less than 12,000 in the country.

I think suzuka blue with a black interior is pretty rare or how about a blue soft top period. I have never seen one in person and only seen one or two in pictures. Thats rare in my opinion

How about the GPW w/blue interior that the Canandians get? Anyone else in the world get this color combination?

Actually, it would be interesting to break this down into the individual markets that Honda offers these colors in. For example, if the GPW w/blue interior mentioned above was only sold in Canada but made up 40% of the S2000's sold there, I wouldn't call it rare even though on a world wide basis, it might be considered to be rare.

What colors are offered world wide anyway?

Just a thought!

Probably 80% of the S2000's I see are either silverstone or the other silver color.

In my opinion the silverstone color reminds me of an overcast sky. It is just kinda depressing. I wouldn't want that color.

But to each their own, it's still a beautiful S2000 regardless of the color.

Well of course it is....because it's not a real combo.

The only few out there are all custom jobs. You couldn't get it from the factory like this.
