Default Annoying rattle

Hey i have an 06 AP2. I have an annoying rattle coming from the rear passenger side of the car. I can't figure out what it is. It's not the spare tire or the tray. The sound is starting to get louder and louder. When the top is up i can hear it but when the top is down it seems like the noise is gone. Either the soft top is blocking the noise or its pressing down on something and doesn't allow it to rattle. Took out the tray and spare tire and sound is still there. Anyone have this problem? Any advice to what it is. Please help.. TIA

My guess is the rear top tray. Check your plastic buttons.

It the fifth comagulator on the passenger side

J/K this has actually been discussed many times. Too bad the search is down or else I would have posted the correct answer for you to read.

Although I haven't fixed this myself, I am sure I have the same rattle. I am thinking that it could be the spring of the trunk vibrating, so a bit of insulation wrapping would help, especially where to rods cross over or come close. Try this out and let us know.

How many buttons are there? Are they accessed from inside the car or inside the trunk?

My rear top tray is off the car. I took it out thinking it was it but it still makes noise.
