Default Another flat on my S02s

I am on my second set of tires on my S2000 and I have already had 3 flat tires! This is more flats on this set than I have had in my entire life. I am beginning to wonder if this is sabotage.

I was wondering if other had indeed seen more flats than normal with these tires. Is it the wider contact patch than most? Is it the soft rubber or the fact they don't have very deep tread???

I getting tired of patching these things!!

It's the compound. These things are like magnets for anything that can puncture a tire.

Have you ruled out sabotage? Seriously.

Well not entirely. I have a garage so I'm sure it's not there. I'm gonna start looking under the tires when I stay at my girlfriends house. It's just really frustrating.

Soft tires do tend to pick up junk, i've seen parelli asymmetrico's do it too. Also, once they've been patched it seems like they wear uneavenly/faster than normal.

Does anybody know of any tires that are a good middle ground? Decent performance but a bit more tolerance to the trash in the road? I'd give up a little handling if I didn't have to deal with these flats so often!

Did you look at the flat tires to see why they were flat? Nails, glass, what? Maybe that would help you figure out what's happening.

Yea..... nail, really big nail, and now a screw. 2 in each one in the rear and now the screw in the front. I'm building a house but I stopped driving it over there. Plus there is construction on every street corner in this town.
