I placed my first order early this morning. My order has apparently already shipped and I was provided a tracking number via email. All this in maybe 18hrs. I must admit I'm pretty impressed.

I agree. I asked if he would charge extra for super custom work above the already custom price of $70. Most dealers would take this opportunity to say yes, there is an extra fee, but not Rick. I just have to finalize my decision on the design of the knob now. Pics to come!

 

I ordered my shortshifter from him and I had great service all throughout the transaction, including answering all my questions. I just ordered some more parts off rick just now Gonna get that stupid carpet console leathered up!

 

I want to buy the $400 wilton carpets, but they're sooooo expensive. I just spent $400 on a valentine 1, and even with another $400, I'm not sure I would spend it on carpets. If I did get to physically see them, I might just get it. A+ to Rick still. I asked if I could have the outer stitching in a color not offered and he was happy to oblige.

I'm looking forward to the Rick's AP2 clear diffusers though. It will not be offered in Japan like the AP1s and he will be the only distributer. I hope he gives us an update soon though. 57 people are eagerly anticipating the release of the production set.
