Well I just signed a purchase agreement for a Silver 1999 S2K with 12000km from a dealer in our South Island so it will come up here on the deck of a railroad flatcar. I got a good trade in on my MR2 and negotiated a final price of $52,000. That is Kiwi dollars which equates to $21320 US dollars. I only make $35000 Kiwi a year so I guess you can work out if that is a good deal or not.

I am sure looking forward to being a S2K owner. I have picked up a lot from the forum here.

No. It was first registered here in Sept 1999. Almost 2000. One owner before me. Over here they only come in Red, Silver or Blue. The blue looks very nice but silver was my first choice.
