I'd much rather see a F22/F20 in a RX7 but the project is cool none the less.

This is typical of the sub frame and transmission mounts that I have found in other engine conversions, not only S2k conversions but V-8 conversions as well. There is some sort of mount that attach

I remember that from your thread, to be honest with you that is one of the reasons we came up with the design that I am showing here. Our design has a couple of things going for it. It is much shorter and doesn't span most of the width of the car, mounting just past the width of the transmission tunnel. Probably more important is that the design incorporates the stock transmission mount. I am hoping with this design we won

Thank you, I have built a few projects in the past; they have all been spec miatas. I have also performed many engine rebuilds along with a few transmissions, the one thing I have learned, is no matter what your budget you will almost always come in over budget.

My budget is set at spend until the project is finished! Currently I am at about 4.5K. The money spent includes purchase of a complete AP1 engine and transmission including engine harness (10.3K miles on the unit), an AP2 transmission that will need a 1st-2nd gear rebuild, a 97 Mazda rear sub frame includes all suspension and a torsen differential with 4.10 gearing and driveshaft, AP1 fuel pump, AP1 driveshaft, AP2 driveshaft, ACT flywheel (8.5 pounds) AP1 instrument cluster,
