Default Another Stolen Antenna

Some little a-hole just stole my antenna. God dammit, that pisses me off. The worst part is that it was stolen from the restaurant at which I eat 2 times a week. Ridiculous. Man, I wish I could have seen the jerks doing this. I'd probably have killed him/them.

Anyway, does Hardtopguy sell antennae? I need a new one ASAP, I can't drive everyday without the radio.

I'd rather just kill the theives. . . it'd be worth the $15 for a new antenna.

I PM'd the guys at Ganley Honda and will be ordering a new one soon. Chances are I'll start taking it off when I leave the car, but since it's a daily driver, I may get careless/p.o.'d and want to leave it on there. Maybe I should just get some thread lock and be done with it. Hopefully the next people to mess with the antenna are theives and not vandals - this way they just leave if it doesn't come off. I should have had the alarm wired to the antenna. . .

I've read that if your Loc-Tite the antenna that the rubber part will still come off if someone is trying to steal your antenna, then it'd be harder to replace.

Thanks for the heads up! Guess that idea is out.

I just talked to Jeff at Ganley Honda and ordered a new part. He suggested I just take it with me when I leave the car unattended. It definitely seems like a PITA, but may save me the headaches and anger associated with stolen parts.

Hardtopguy really is a great vendor, and Jeff is a stand up guy, by the way. Thanks guys!
