I use the Puro Pure One and have completed 4 oil changes with it. No problems ever.
My mechanic said it was one of the nicest filters he's seen.

Russ, you drop all that coin on your car with all the cusotom work. Aftermarket bumpers, hood ect. ALL that time effort and money and you get compliments on your.... oil filter?

TOO funny!

Yeah....my mechanic is one of those real under the hood guys. I'm going to miss him
now that I'm down here in Miami. I found a joint though that does custom work on
Hondas, RX7's, Supras, etc. Dropped in on Monday and there were a few 500+ hp cars in the lot, did the "meet and greet" and came away impressed. So, if my stocks close out the year nicely, I might throw a Vortech in there and have them do the work.

You know, this must be a California thing that people are just not able to read. First oil filters then wheels causing cars to fly out of control.

Russ, I would much rather have pictures of the girls in your signature.

Is there any reason to believe the use of the PLM filter damages the engine?

Im not too sure what the PLM filter looks like, but im guessig it would be the one with a smaller diameter. As far as damaged is concerned, I don't think there would be any. The only thing I can think of is that the filter element surface area on the PLM may be smaller and thus will flow less oil when dirty than the POH or the PCX since it has a bigger diameter (larger filter element surface area).
