Recently I saw a picture of a yellow S2K on the Edmunds auto site (edmunds.com) that had no windshield tape. Have any of you new yellow stook owners taken delivery of one without the black windshield tape?

 

I don't think AHM intends to sell any S2000s without the tape. I know someone (Pinky or Flying Pig) had his 2000 delivered that way. The MY2000 USA S2000 brochure showed a drawing of a red with a red windshield frame. AHM has a few publicity posters around with no tape. For example, EVERY USA DEALER has a poster that shows ALL the 2001 Honda models. The S2000 in that poster is a yellow with no tape.

Still, I think "no tape" is not an official option.
