Default Any '02 owners change to the Voodoo shift knob?

I have a '02 S2K and was debating on ordering the voodoo shift knob. Is the change from the stock '02 knob to the voodoo knob a noticeable and worthwhile difference?

Thanks for any feedback.

Regardless of what brand of spherical shift knob you buy you will notice a difference over the stock knob mainly due to the extra weight, shape and countersink of the knob. Most people can't see how there can be any real difference in feel until *after they have been using one for a while.

I changed to the OEM titanium knob as it feels much better weighted while keeping the same shape as the standard knob. The Voodoo knob (from trying on other S2Ks) makes the throws even shorter and feels good, but it doesn't fit the palm of my hand like the OEM knob - small hands.

i switched to the voodoo, and like it just fine - the only thing i wish is that it were a bit heavier - it's similar in weight to the stock, but the throws ARE shorter. a bit more weight would be perfection.

I have the Ti Voodoo engraved with (and painted red) the S2000 logo.

I really like it! It's bigger, heavier and shortens the throw a noticeable amount.

Is the "Ti" knob heavier than the stock knob? I always thought "Ti" was lighter?

I've got the Voodoo spun pearl knob and I love it. I got it from "Ricks". Check out his site he'll hook you up.

Hey DK,

I was considering getting the Aluminum Pearl Knob from Rick's earlier today, instead I bought just the JDM side markers. Do you know if Titanium is lighter or heavier than the Aluminum? I wish there were enough people here in Michigan who drove these things, maybe some enthusiast's who have the VooDoo knob, so I could get a feel for it, but I rarely see any to begin with.

The aluminum knobs are close to the same weight as the stock knob. The titanium knob is considerably heavier.
