Any '02 owners change to the Voodoo shift knob?
QUOTE: I always thought \"Ti\" was lighter?
Actually, aluminum (Al - atomic number 13 - atomic weight 26.981) is one of the lightest metals in the world (the material of the OEM knob). Titanium (Ti - atomic number 22 - atomic weight 47.867), on the other hand, is one of the heaviest metals ...but is extremely strong and durable.
Just for chemistry fun, titanium (Ti) is the only element that burns in nitrogen (N).
Good luck!

I replaced the shift knob on my '02 with a Voodoo knob and highly recommend the mod. For one, the Voodoo knob looks great. For two, it feels even better in my hand. Finally, because it's countersunk it shortens the shift action a bit.
Great mod, I give it a big

Thanks everyone for the feedback and chemistry lesson
I placed an order for a Digrappa X-brace and a Ti Voodoo knob from Rick's.
I appreciate all the help - you guys rock as always

Do these knobs get real hot in the sun? I have heard that on the 00's and 01's, the factory knob would get very to extreemly hot if left in the sun. I don't notice this on my 02, so I was wondering if any had concernes. I am thinking about the Ti since I do not like the feeling the fake thread in my hand on the factory knob. It really bugs me.
