so the big problem here is the transmitter not having the right frequence to lock/unlock/open trunk/panic. I think this was mentioned but not discussed: Replacing just the transmitters may be the answer if all of the buttons are on the right circuit for the transmitter ex:lock button on TL goes to the same pins in the right place on the S's transmitter. imput anyone?

has anyone figured out how to do this yet? i'm really interested in having an integrated key. btw IMO the accord key looks better than the TL key... i dont want the acura on the back....

I did this with a Pilot key for my wife's Element. The pilot key does not have the trunk release button. It took 5 minutes to do the chip swap from the valet key and another minute to program the keyless stuff.

Sucks it will not work on the S, as I would like to have either key (Honda or Acura) to replace my key and transmitter.

It would be very easy to wire up an S2k remote's innards in another remote, assuming it fits... I personally don't think I have the skills to do the key fabrication part itself.
