Don't forget a new, larger throttle plate also has to be fabricated.
The link to the company above includes the bigger throttle plate.

from my previous time with Honda racing- the larger TB isn't really even something that you would need untill you go FI- even then it doesn't make a huge diff, unless you have larger plenum, ported/polished, custom exh. mani.. etc. If you think you need a TB you probably don't.. I tested this theory myself on my old car and lost 3whp and 2 ftlbs- but it's your car and money... HTH

He is correct. A larger bore throttle body works well in conjunction with other tuning parts (intake, header, exhaust, test pipe, a little head work, etc), but just by itself will offer little to no gains.

What is the stock throttle body bore size?
Is it true if you go to a larger bore size you may gain horse power but lose torque?
The stock Tb is 66mm outer and 62mm inner. J's Racing actually offers 2 types, one is 70mm outer 64mm inner and the other is 70mm outer 66mm inner.

I have the 70-66mm one, acceleration and mid-range has quite a bit of improvement with my I/H/E set up but I didn't notice a big difference up top. Also, I didn't notice any hp lost.
