Default Any idea what it would cost to replace a driver's side airbag?

I am looking into purchasing an s2k that needs a driver's side airbag (due to theft, not use). Does anyone know about what it might cost to get a new one and have it installed? Thanks!

I dont know about price but you can install it yourself. Its 2 #30 torx screws and 1 plug that hold the thing in.

did someone try to steal your steeringwheel and set it off?

Thanks turbo! Thats cheaper than I thought; looks like its about $410. Is there any problem with the shipping of an airbag though? I thought I read recently that shipping was an issue because it is technically an explosive item.

check with the site, not really sure about that one. I have a feeling that it has more to do with air shipping then ground shipping.

Check with Jeff at Ganley Honda. They have the best prices in the country. Ganley is a sponsor as well.

Ganley does have good prices, but he can't ship the airbags out because it is explosive material and the shipping company they use prohibits it.
