I kinda wish I didn't get my K&N being that F.I. completely takes over this....

and I wanna go F.I. soon......

anyone have any regrets?

 

All except one.

 

For me, the 4.57 gears and Comptech Diff housing.

Lasted 17k miles before a tooth broke off the pinion gear.

Hated the whine and the loss of rpms up top.

In my current high-speed, highway commute... more of a pain than benefit.

NOTE: I think it's a good mod if you're NA and if you have predominantly city or stop-and-go commuting.

Colgan Nose Mask. Not getting much use.

Cheap azz dash kit (since replaced by a Burtman CF dash kit).

F.I. on this forum at least, to me, stands for Forced Induction...

Yes forced induction....as in.....there's air and I'm gonnna force it into my engine faster via supercharger/turbo applications


but nevertheless, I'd have to "86" the K&N.....bye bye waste of $$$$$ for future reference
