Default Any mods to illuminate the ingnition keyhole?

I really hate poking my key all over the place trying to find the keyhole when getting into my car at night. Why does my mom's old '93 accord have a lighted ring around the ignition and our $30k doesn't have it??

Anyone know how I can illuminate that area?

Turn on your overhead driver's side map light when you get in....

This is one of those minor things that Honda should have thought of doing. It really does make sense and is more useful than an extra cupholder!

I have avoided commenting on this even though I have seen this posted a bazzillion times, mainly because I didn't want to sound like an ass, but..... If after about a week, tops, you can't instinctivly hit the key hole without looking how do you nail shifts, rev match, take it to the edge on a curve and all the other instinctive, seat of your pants, split second reactions it takes to drive the S2000?

And how would a light around it help? I can't see the ignition unless I get my head under the steering wheel. I do agree it's in a stupid spot though. I go out (Summer nights) and put the windows up when rain is due, and have to practically get on my knees to get the key in the ignition without getting in the car.

Put your fingertip over the end of your key, then slip the key in the hole.

...hmmm just thought of a new product to help illuminate certain objects to fit into certain holes:

"Lighted Ring Around the base of Condoms"

....for those times that you just can't get it in right.
....fumbling in the dark is really for the birds.
....don't you wish every hole was illuminated?
