Any one else raise their shiftknob
I adjusted my shiftknob today to sit a little higher. It is locked tight against the nut on the bottom. It is about 1 inch higher now and requires alot less effort to shift because there is more leverage on the shifter. There is next to no effort required to shift it but the throws are longer. I can still lower it back to stock for shorter throws. Has anyone else done the same for daily driving?

The effort to shift the S transmission is minimal. If you have been having difficulty shifting try changing your transmission fluid.
Whenever we see posts about someone changing the height of our shifter, it's usually to shorten it to get a "rifle bolt" action. We're always hearing about countersunk knobs and short shifter kits. I guess it was only time before someone came along who wanted it longer.
