evil-1,
I hate to break this to you...but 18's are most likely going to hurt the performance in this car. The stock setup is hard to beat. Even when Comptech put 265/35/18 TA/KD's on the car...it didn't improve the slalom time and I beleive it really hurt their 1/4 time also. So keep in mind...18's and 19's are for show...unless you get some 18x10's or something and run 285/30/18 (I haven't seen any performance numbers on those).
But, if you just want some styling...I recommend a 18x8 and 18x9 setup. 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 tires are decently priced...and alot of manufacturers make those sizes. 18x8 and 18x9 with the right offsets are hard to find though (+53mm, +60mm).
If you haven't noticed...our cars use an unusually high offset, so alot of wheels won't fit right. You can have the wheels custom made for the car...but expect to pay > $800 a wheel.
Some of my favorite 18's include the Workmiester wheels (18x8, 18x9) and the Volk TE37's (18x7.5 and 18x8.5).

phantom,i'm not looking to downgrade performance, and not sure of condition's of comptech's 1/4 mi. run,or how many to make their average.the handling should remain the same with 18"s i believe and better if i were to use a wider tire patch..
S2R,arround 500. per wheel, could be swayed higher if one really looked knockout on the car.keep in mind i weekend race so they need to be light and balanced......thx guy's

If you want lightweight 18" rims then I would recommend getting RH CP35s or VolkTE37s. Those are two of the lightest 18's around.
I'm selling my Volks if you're interested.
