Any other S2000 owners serving/served in the Armed Forces?

I'm a Master sergeant in the Air Force. I've been in for just over 20 years, and recently signed up for another 6 years, I'm an Aircraft Armament System Specialist (I load bombs, missiles and other munitions on aircraft and work on release systems and guns).
If you see me running you might want to do the same!

So you're saying you're a "loader?"
That's right I'm a Load Toad.

So SoDakS2K, how's the weather in S.D. is it getting cold yet. I spent 8 1/2 years at Ellsworth AFB, so I know how fast you can go from warm summer weather to freezing cold.

so can any of the soldiers here explain the "army of one" thing?

is it common practice in the army to be running through a desert by yourself with your shinny dog tags hanging out?

Actually, before anybody begins submarine training, we must take a pysch test to determine if we're emotionally stable for the job. It isn't hard to pass really as it is just a written test. Pretty much answer "no" to all the questions and you're set.

Have you ever thought about suicide?

Do you have any negative feelings about the use of nuclear weapons?

etc. etc.

U.S. Naval Aviator. Pilot type. Been in 24 years now, how quickly time goes by when you're having fun.....flying jets.
I've had the pleasure of landing on and taking off from 11 different Aircraft Carriers. Been stationed in Pensacola, FL.; Sigonella, Sicily; Corpus Christi, TX. (twice); Chicago, San Diego, Dallas, New Orleans, Whidbey Island, WA.; Fort Worth (twice), and at The Pentagon. Been on only six of the Continents. I think I've seen every port in the WESTPAC and the Med and I know I've spent way too much time in the Persian Gulf.
I'm lucky enough to be running an Airwing now, (it pays to stick around longer than your wingmen sometimes.)
If you ever look in the parking lot of an aviation squadron, you'll see pilots tend to have cars that reflect their flight jobs. I have a few JOs who have some hot cars, but the old man still has the coolest car in the lot.
