Any other S2000 owners serving/served in the Armed Forces?
overdrive,
I just graduated the academy, and I was a soaring IP there from my 3 degree year on. We just got our new gliders, the TG-10 (B/C/D) to replace the whole fleet, kinda sad retired the old TG-4s. How cool to find a fellow "glider driver" here.

Retired "mustang" naval officer. Enlisted time was with the army as a drill sergeant and civil affairs NCO. Navy was with surface (including new construction), subsurface and aviation... yeah a little bit of everything -
Currently a civilian supporting zoomies and the B-1Bs but getting close to my second and final retirement -
Oldest son is a naval corpsman serving with the marine scout snipers (political correctness has impacted as they now are called "scout - target acquisition platoons"... give me a break HA!.... still "one shot, one kill" 2 man teams).

Marcus,
Thanks -
He has a bit of an attitude too in not wanting the marines to show up a 'squid" so he made sure he finished in the top 5 when qualifying as well as acquiting himself well in SERE, etc. And abolutely, the marines sure take care of their "docs"!
Things are still a bit weird about changing geneva convention classifications from non-combatant. And aside from the political correctness barb, the teams have added fire control to their tasks.... hence the name change.
