Does anyone know if the reliability of PIAA or Raybrig HID bulbs are worse than OEM ones?

Looking to get some 6K colour ones for my S, but am just concerned that those are not as reliable -- since I remember people used to have problems with PIAA halogen ones. Just don't want the bulbs to blow up in the lamp housing
