Default Any tips on how to install a factory rear spoiler?

I gonna install it tomorrow but saw that the two middle holes were different from the two outside ones. How will I know where to drill the hole for the middle two since it don't have a bolt sticking out? Or can I just use the two outside ones?

If you read the instructions it tells you to drill the 2 outside holes first then stick on to the spoiler the white foam washers in the red plastic over the middle two holes. There is one side that is less adhesive then the other which is the side you stick on the spoiler. Simply place the spoiler on the car and press it down, the white washers will stick to the car when you remove it locating the place to drill.

I got mine in the mail yesterday, from Handa. All the parts, tools, and enthusiasm are heading out to the garage right now to install it

The adhesive was giving me some problems but I finally got it to stick. You will need some double-sided tape on either side of some other filler (thin foam?) so the gap is filled when you spot the spoiler. The side on the spoiler must be less sticky somehow.
Be very careful with the punch and drilling the holes.
The springs are needed if you want the trunk to open properly. I'm excited about putting the springs in. What a challenge without the special tool.

You should wipe the area that the "sticky" stuff attaches to with alchohol. Jack Daniels should do the trick!

The trunk operates just fine without the new springs. I would live with the original springs to see if your happy with them first.
