haven't heard anything for awhile, who's successfully done it? how painful is it?

Seen those threads, still doesn't contain anything updated about the 04 taillights.

yup used the search, and seen that thread. There wasn't anything updated in the thread.

 

Ok heres what happened in my case. I actually ordered the 04 taillights before I really knew what I was getting into. It ended up being to much work and I didnt really want to cut and hack my rear end to make the lights work so I opted for 03 taillights instead. People were saying splice this and splice that which is the wrong way to do things IMO. If your going to do it right take it to a bodyshop and buy the new 04 trunk harness and it should work out. I may do it in a year. I heard that the 05 taillights will have silver rings also so I may just wait for those.
