any way to make rumble?
You'll never get anything but a subaru to sound like a subaru. They definitely have that distinct sound. There's so many subaru's with exhausts around here that I've learned to hear them coming before I even see them.
Pull off a spark plug wire, and that will give you a lope like you have a cam.
I'm trying to figure out why anyone would want their car to sound like a Subaru? I love the WRX STi, but the sound isn't one of its strong points in *my* opinion. Give me the sound of a big V8 with a cam that has a 110 LSA and long tube headers....
Yep, I'm old school.

1. Buy a set of billiard balls.
2. Dismount all 4 tires.
3. Insert billiard balls (equally divided) into tires.
4. Remount tires and wheels.
5. Enjoy new rumbling sound.
6. Sell car
7. Watch boards for post about 'Strange rumbling noise coming from all over'
8. laugh at Xviper's sarcastic replies

Now I'm thinking about doing it just for fun... JK!

I was told by a Subi owner, who used to be on S2KI, that the rumble is caused by unequal length headers. You could try to weld together a custom header to make the S rumble more, just don't cry when you lose tons of power. Closest realistic mod would be a LoveFab GT1 kit with a 4" downpipe and exhaust. Yeah Baby!
