Any word on the replacement S2k?
Ok, all this talk about the next generation VTEC is making me wonder what is in store for the next generation S2k.
Obviously, cars have a concept line b4 final production line.. So if they unveiled the CONCEPT S2000, say in 2008... how long would it take for the final S2k design to be in production?

I hear the S2k will no longer be produced after 06 and the new replacement will be the Prelude. Don't know the reason. Should the value or the S2k jump and be a collectors item?Does anyone have the production numbers of the last generation Supra and RX-7?
I don't think there will be a replacement for the S2K. I have absolutely no evidence to back this, but I think that they will make '07 the last year and just stop production. I just feel like the S2K will become the next 3000gt, supra, RX7, 300ZX, etc, that may be redesigned in the future down the road but not for a few years. This is just a hunch, I really have no clue

They better... Look at the NSX. Good things don't last for ever. Its the same reason The Smashing Pumpkins and Celine Deon (sp?) cut out early in thier careers.

don't they have a replacement NSX out, V10 coming out soon?
I sure do hope that they get a replacement soon because the s2k is getting really old. Nissan already announced a replacemnt for the 350z set for '09 and the 350z came out 2-3 years after the s2k.
But then again, it holds true with my belief that if you're interested in sports cars, Honda really isn't the company to be looking at. Sports cars really isn't in their focus and when they produce a sports car or compat sports car they just let it be and die a slow death, look at all their current and past cars.
