Well I had an accident..but to make a long depressing story short...I damaged my suspension, had to replace the "steering knuckle" and "upper control arm" (I have no clue what either of these things are, but the shop I went to is the best one in the city.) Has anybody had some repair work done like this? How did it come out? I am getting my car back next week after about a month (parts were on back order)....Just kinda worried it won't be the same...

Thank God no frame damage (or personal damage) but total including paint/body was 4k

I know someone who hit a wall at a racetrack and had to have a bunch of front end suspension rebuilt. He's had it out to the track since then and it seems to have come out fine.

This doesn't sound like suspension replacement but rather to do with your steering. If you car steers nicely as when new, you will likely never have another problem with this incident. The dealer would have disconnected the electric power steering, thus would have needed alignment after the new parts were put on.

I had a wet-road spin about a month and half ago because some a$$hole pulled out in front of me and I had to take evasive action. Wound up hitting the right rear wheel flat against a median curb at about 30 MPH.

The entire r/r suspension assembly had to go: susp. cradle, axle, even down to the brake assembly.

The car was repaired by my Honda shop and I have to say (knocking on wood right now...) that they did a great job and the car drives perfectly. I have noticed absolutely no difference in ride quality.
