I've gotten a chirp (at least a small one) even in fourth, but not w/ my old SO2s and not before I added the Star Clutch/pressure plate. I'm running BFG G Force KDWs now.

Yes, but it was in our old '94 VTEC Prelude.

I don't think you could chirp them without abusing the car. The tires are just too sticky.
Nah. It also has to do with the quality of pavement you are in. In certain kinds of asphalt I would agree that with S02's it is nearly impossible to chirp.

But believe me, go to Mexico and in some of those old, slick streets you can easily chirp the car without any kind of misuse, pavement is so slippery, even when dry makes for fun driving

Cheers,
Daniel

Yes, from time to time.

BUT I'll try to limit it as from now since I just had my CV joints replaced.

Fair enough. Never driven in Mexico but yeah, some of the streets there are looking pretty deadly.
No Flame intended Koala my friend. It's just that the pavement (in some areas, it's not everywhere) can be so slick it's ridiculous. There are some pretty nice roads with good asphalt where I get unbelievable grip from this OEM tires, it's hard to even get the tail to step out on slow corners. I guess car is designed to get fast times rather than for "show" with tail out/countersteer maneuvers...
Cheers,
Daniel

Star stage II clutch & Dayton Daytona ZR 245/40 tires and I now can bark second gear better than my old Mustang GT!

Third is good for a chirp on an ideal service.

2nd gear chirp is normal in the S2000. 3rd gear too, if you shift fast enough to stay well into the power band.
