HI guys,

I was wondering if anybody had a phone number for American Honda. I am trying to contact someone at Honda who can help my dispute with a dealer regarding a deposit. I'm sure many of you have already read my other post. Basically, I want to know if they can keep my deposit if I do not get approved for financing. This is my situation since I lost my job. In any case, I am currently overseas and unable to speak with the dealer. If you have a phone number I can call when I get back to the states, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

 

I did not read your dispute posts yet.. but... here in the state of Pennsylvania, it is not legal to have a "non-refundable" deposit... to prevent anyone from trying that, threaten to go to your state's Attorney General, which here in PA, the Attorney General actually does some good work....

if the threat doesn't work, actually call the Attorney General to get the ball rolling.

Do a google search ( http://www.google.com ) for American Honda Motors Press Release

and you will come up with some AHM press releases which have phone numbers for corporate officers in Torrence, California.

Not sure who you'd need to talk with, maybe Doug Hellmer who is the national consumer affairs mgr.
