Default anybody have a tach?

anybody have autometer tach or some other brand in their s2k? ones with shift light to tell you when to shift, just curious because i haven't seen any s2ks with a tach, post pics please

Maybe the dealer sold him some other kind of car and just told him it was an S2000. The last time I looked, my S2000 already had a tach. I also have Modifry's shift beeper that I could put on a shift light when and if I wanted to.

Many of us have the "Modifry" shift beeper. A light can be added to this module quite easily. You can see it here:

what happens if your bumpin your music and don't hear the bleep i think a shift light would suit me better... but i don't have a S yet but i plan to save up enough to get one in June

That's when you would add the light.
Note: The beeper can be put anywhere in the cabin. If your music is too loud, you can mount the beeper at the top of the driver's side "A" pillar or behind your ear in the head rest. Then, if you still can't hear it, you can put the light where you can see it, too.
The Modifry unit is by far a way cheaper alternative than any of the commercially available shift lights.
ps. The beeper is quite loud and is more than adequate for me.
