Default Anybody tried this O2 Simulator?

I found this link on here from a previous post. I am going to be installing a test pipe soon and wanted to buy the 02 simulator before I install it so I dont throw a CEL. Has anybody had any experience with this brand of O2 simulator? For only $45, you cant really beat that. Im going to call them tomorrow to find out more if there isnt a good response about it tonight. Also, is this all that I will need to prevent the CEL from coming on? Thanks for any comments!

Ryan

Just installed it a few days ago. So far, so good. One of our local club members has been using one for quite some time, and hasn't had any problems.

It's a little computer-in-a-box (about 2"x2"x3/4") and it splices into your factory ECU wiring harness. It reads a few of the values from various sensors (RPM, maybe TPS) and then it generates a signal that "simulates" what the O2 sensor would generate, if the catalytic converter were installed and functioning properly. This prevents the ECU from realizing that there is a problem, which would cause it to "throw a code", and the CEL would come on.
There's a thread around here somewhere (in UTH, I think) that shows which wires in the factory harness need to be tapped/cut to install it.

Does anyone know if this would work on a comptech superchared 02 since I have a piggy back running into the ecu now?

My order from wiredspeed took about 3 weeks to arrive. Fortunately, I wasn't in a rush, because my exhaust took over 3 months to arrive.
