Also, thank you to those of you who commented on my job situation. I know shit happens, which is why I just went for whatever job was available. I didn't want to have to freeload off of my fiance and family.

I am the guy who delivers in the CR. I don't know what it is with me but I get on and off depressed it's so crazy how it happens. So I always debate selling my car. Depression aside I could sell it and get a used ap1/ap2 and a beater and still have money left over. I could DD the beater and track the s2k which is what I really want to do.

My friend got robbed delivering, the guy came up from behind and said he had a knife and the guy had a few people with him. We live in a good area too. I bought a machete, but I realized I could get in trouble if I keep it in my car so I don't.

I love people that say " I need a delivery job!" " You are doing better than me!" When if fact nobody knows my situation. I am just a kid who loves cars and spends his money on NOTHING else. I don't party, I don't drink, I don't do drugs, I don't club, and I don't have a girl to steal my money.

Getting robbed is actually a concern of mine, especially since I am working in Perris, CA, which is not really a nice town.

i'd probably sell my S right away if i lost my job.

recently graduated so i don't have much saved up right now. also, the fact that i have student loans to pay off means that the S is just another burden on my debt.

Isn't this the perfect verhicle for deliveries? I mean... cruise around all the time to here or there... the only problem is... 45 min or free = no scenic routes

I would love to drive my s delivering pizzas... but would be concerned about the permanent pizza smell that may get left behind
My only problem is I would get speeding tickets because of the the 45 minutes or free rule

I currently have 0, its a number I would like to keep .

I delivered for Domino's once. I had a beater '89 Tercel that I used for the job. One time, I stopped by the store in my S on my day off to kick it with my coworker/buddy for a second. He asked me if I wanted to deliver a single pie because they were short on drivers. It was close, I knew the place, and it was a nice day. I delivered a single pizza in my NFR MY03.

I watched initial d the movie. The kid delivers tofu in his ae86 corolla during the day and kicks major ass on the tougue at night. The movie had TERRIBLE acting but it was a really good movie. I would love to be a pizza man by day and a hardcore racer at night haha.

I used to be a delivery contractor for a company that was contracted by FEDEX and UPS... oh man, the looks people would give me when I said I was FEDEX and was picking up that package for delivery to the airport. I used to be an expediter, and put about 15k miles of work use on it.

Sometimes a customer would have a package arriving on a flight and he called 3 courier agencies in the city and whoever got it first would get the job.. you can guess who got there before the others LOL.

Other interesting moments:

-Being forced to drive top down from NoVA to NJ in 30F weather because I had to stack 2 boxes in the pass seat.

-having to use rope to keep the pass. door shut because the box would not fit all the way in.

-Cops and ticket writers would not believe that I was in delivery while parked in "delivery only" lanes until I showed proper documentation.

-I got the cops called on me once by a customer because she thought I was an impostor claiming to be FEDEX. She apologized after it was explained to her how FEDEX subcontracts work for its same-day air service.

I had a lot of fun driving the S for deliveries. I finally got a 90 corolla after watching the car slowly decaying.
