For anyone that bought their car new with hardtop
How much did the dealer charge you for it w/ install. I did a search on this and didn't really come up with any prices.
I got a qoute for a leftover '06 laguna blue for $29,333 + Tax, tag, title. Installed add-on price for the hardtop was $3,825....that seems a bit high. But even if you bought at rick's you're looking at $3300 and installing it yourself.
Anyone get any cheaper qoutes on hardtop installs from a honda dealer?

I bought mine back in 2002 and honestly can't remember the exact price. I do know between the car and the hartop together I was about $1,300 below MSRP. The hardtop install was covered as "free" as part of the deal because I got the hardtop when I ordered the car, in fact the hardtop was the only option I ordered.
Here is my car on the day of delivery.
At the time I do remember the HT was $2,995 and Honda was giving a $500 discount. Good luck, I would think a dealer should be covering the cost of installation for free on the purchase of a new car equiped witht he HT.

Thanks for the quick reply...I am thinking I am going to either buy a leftover '06 or '07 after Jan 1st (trying to avoid getting taxed twice) with hardtop installed as part of the deal.

Trevor also sells OEM Lips at a really good deal compared to everywhere else, actually pretty much any OEM part, and he's a good guy!

I got mine when I got the car new back in 02, was $2500 for top and that included installation, had to wait 6 weeks for it to be delivered to dealer. Like Triple H it was only option on the car at time of purchase, and also came from Vt.
