I guess the trick about drag racing, is trying to put the power on the groud in its best way, trying not to spin and all that crap hehe. Really don't know how to explain it.
But best thing to see and do here were I am from is doughnuts and trying to loose control with the car. That is fun

Well there are various places you can go to learn more about drag racing, controlling wheel spin, back pedaling, power shifting, wet burnout, dry burnout and understanding the track. Such as staging lights, a .500 tree a .400 tree etc

On a stock S2000, possibly.

On a S2000 slightly modified for Drag racing, probably not.

Just to compare some #'s and times. I used to own an rsx and that car ran 14.0. I had a buch of moda , not worth listing, but I can guarantee that the car did not break 200 whp. That being said, the S, i am told dynos at about 210 to the wheels, and the 2004's even more. Obviously it depends a lot on the driver and his ability to lauch well and get good 60's but just based an the hp #'s, the fact theat the S is rear wheel drive and is capible of running 2.0 60's I don;t see why it should not be in the 13's consistently on a cool day. The 2004's , if they are really making 240 at the wheels, according to TOV should go mid 13's stock on paper. Just my estimations.

14.3 with intake with 7000 clutch drop
14.4 with aem/dc sports/spugen dual with s-afc( not tuned)
no clutch drop just regular street start.. 96 mph
after the 14.3 i finished that day and swear not to slip or drop the clutch any higher than 2000 rpm
