Default Anyone done a custom exhaust

Anyone have gotten a set of custom muffler like flowmaster and bring it to a muffler shop to weld in some custom bent pipes and hangers on their S? there is a lot of option out there for muffler and tips you can choose from. This can't be too difficult and would be way cheaper than buying a $1k exhaust.

But would it be any better? Just curious, I honestly don't know. Good luck with that!

Yup.....had a shop add two magnaflows w/integrated tips. Went from just behind the resonator. I got a new split, pipes to the mufflers.

$325, I have some pictures I can post if you want.

I've seen a few locals with custom jobs. They look real nice and sound good too. Most of them go the magnaflow route.

Spugen has great exhausts... they are a "muffler shop"

It won't be $325... but they are still awesome exhausts.

I'm thinking about adding the resonators section of my stock exhaust onto my Spugen exhaust to help control the noise/drone. If I were to do it again, I'd probably have a local shop make the resonators-back section with these same Magnaflows that came on my Spugen.

I'll post what I have later...they aren't currently on my server.

Before I did this mod I researched it extensively.....I know more than a few other owners tried it.

I bought a used OEM exhaust to hack and still have my original in the basement.
