150240 miles on a MY00.

So far I've had to replace:

Headlight bulbs and igniters.
Radiator.
Both engine mounts.
Clutch x2
Exhaust
Cataletic converter and o2 sensors x2
rear tires x15

No valve adjustment yet. Changed my rear diff fluid at 140k miles. Changed oil every 3-7k miles etc.
Was that the first diff fluid change at 140k miles?!?!?!? Have you owned the car since new? If so, what did that fluid look like??? Thats a long time on fluid thats pretty nasty after a few thousnad miles.

I've owned the car for just over three years. I personally have put around 90k miles on it.

I wondered what the fluid was going to look like, and tbh it looked brand new. There was a little bit of gunk built up on the bolt...but the fluid looked good.

155k+ and I just nuked my cat convertor. New one is being shipped and I'll be good-to-go in no time.

As some of you know I do all the maintenance to my S (and many others out here in SoCal) and this car continues to amaze me regarding durability and performance. There isn't a day that goes by without it seeing VTEC-land and it pulls as well as it ever did.

Next stop......200k!!!!!!!!!

I just passed 117,000 miles on my 2000 S2k. Everyone is surprised when I tell them that because people tell me it looks newish. I have done the following:

Oil change every 3k miles (switched to synthetic at 80k)
TSB054 (clutch buzz on deceleration)
New Soft Top (tears/holes)
Valve Adjustment
New MAP Sensor
New Spark Plugs (3x)
Radiator flush and fill (2x)
New flywheel (by choice)
New Rotors (by choice)
New Brake Lines (by choice)
New Clutch (once by choice)
Mugen Front Sway bar (choice)
Mugen Header (choice)
Comptech CAI (choice)
VAFC2(choice)
4.56R gears(choice)
and finished it all with a Greddy Turbo

Its been garaged for 4 years and exposed to the elements for 4 years. I just had the compression checked and the mechanic was amazed at how consistent and strong my compression is. It pulled just as hard as new before I put the turbo on and it feels like a rocket now as it begins its 9th year of use. It has a few "character" marks on the paint here and there but it wears them proudly like battle scars.

Mine is at 110K as of today and I bougth it in July 2001 with 5miles on it.

Replaced clutch at 20k (Under Warranty)
Replaced softtop at 30K (Under Warranty)
Replaced Spark Plugs at 30k (Under Warranty)
Replace Battery at 60K (because of the sound system)
Replaced softop at 100k (Robbins Glass top)

Original brakes are still good
only thing that's not working properly is the map lights...it works sometimes and sometimes not.

People have commented that the car still looks new

I would've been on track to hit 100k by late next year, but thanks to my beater, my S is collecting dust during my long weekday commutes. @66k. I wouldn't be surprised to see my S last longer than 150k without a problem judging from the current condition. Plus, the S is very easy to maintain.
