Ah, thanks! Makes perfect sense. Thanks guys.

Back on topic... I bought the car on Saturday with 35,9xx, now I'm pushing 37k and it hasn't even been a week yet! Maybe it's because it's new, or maybe b/c it's fun, maybe both, either way, 100k, here I come!

Well, one more for the 100k club. Hit 100k this morning at about 10AM.

... it sits parked now at 100,510. If there's any good time to hit 100k, it's definately coming home from the Homecoming in LA. Gotta add the badge now. Checked this thread to see if there was a moderator-add needed, now that I know it's not, game on.

Left last thursday from Vancouver WA at 97995, got home 5 days later at 100,510. Not too shabby.

What are your maintenance habits like? Any repairs?

Dang, I didnt even know this thread existed. Yea I hit 100k 2 years ago. It sits at about 120k at the moment, since I've only driven it 4 times this year.

I bought my car at 74950 from a woman in Salem, OR. As far as I know it got oil changes (with fram filters...eek) it's whole life. Ran dino oil, but never got diff fluid/trans fluid changes, etc.

By 80K it had Honda trans fluid, Royal Purple in the diff and Mobil 1 in the engine. I haven't done the trans or diff since, just oil changes.

at 85k the clutch was going, (i let a guy testdrive it and it started slipping afters) so i upgraded to an ACT-HD/Fidanza combo.

At 94k I overrevved it to 10,650. Had the head rebuilt as a side effect of that. Still on first water pump, timing chain tensioner, etc.

Other than that, nothing's been done. I need to do a coolant flush and some other things, but it's been just very basically maintained it's whole life.

118k here. factory clutch too! Runs like a champ. oil change every 3000 miles and just FINALLY changed my serpentine belt to eliminate squeaking and got a valve adjustment. Other wise, no problems! at first i thought the clicking i was getting was the ttc but after i got my valves adjusted it went away and all i heard were my injectors. So 118k miles on a factory TTC.

anyone else have there TTC last this long?

Im kind of paranoid and i want to change out the timing chain, even though i know it should be good, after 100k i kinda want a new one JUST TO ENSURE the longevity of the motor.

Spanish MY00 98K at clock.
Aditional repairs to standard mantenaince program (clutch, shocks ..):
- 60K right rear caliper
- 72K complete left rear driveshaft because my car shake under aceleration.
- 85K the complete gear box (transmission) the old transmission is dead.

Oil change every 3.000 miles, recently i change my spark plugs and look good, my engine work like a rock, the only problem with the car is late 3 clutchs i keep with the clutch buzz.

excuse my broken english

150240 miles on a MY00.

So far I've had to replace:

Headlight bulbs and igniters.
Radiator.
Both engine mounts.
Clutch x2
Exhaust
Cataletic converter and o2 sensors x2
rear tires x15

No valve adjustment yet. Changed my rear diff fluid at 140k miles. Changed oil every 3-7k miles etc.
