I just hit 60k and already im stressing... But seeing this thread re-assures me and makes me wanna keep my ap2 for a long time. Have any of you seen a slight drop in performance with the higher mileage?

Honestly, I didn't really notice any negative effects until right before my motor went. Personally, I think my motor might have lasted longer if I didn't have the 4.77 gearing. The majority of my driving is @ 80+ mph on the highway putting my rpms at/over 5k for extended periods of time. That coupled with my motor being an 01 and not having the upgraded oil banjo bolts took it toll.

I got 214k miles on my original motor (100k of those miles were geared) so I really can't complain!

to you and your car! I'd have to keep mine for a very long time to get anywhere near that mileage. I see what your saying the engine spent a lot of time at a higher rpm than it would of with the 4.10 gear. As soon as Honda care goes out I'm getting 4.77's!
