I get to work at around 7:15am and grab the best spot, right outside the front door. It's marked 'Vice President of Sales', which must be from a prior tenant. Good spot.

I cried bitter tears after hitting the concrete barrier in the parking lot at work I'm so much more careful now!

Ditto!

It's a small car to begin with so it's easy to understimate the length of that hood!

I always park far away from curbs.

I notice other people love to just run them over.

I get pretty close and my car lowered but I'm always park in the corner.

I've had my car almost a month. I've never been so flipped out about parking a car. I've actually not gone certain places I wanted to because the parking sucks there. The only scratch on it is from me tripping over something in the garage in the dark and stumbling into the side. Boy I was pissed when that happened.

I try to park next to a barrier on one side as much as possible. Also further away from buildings so fewer lazy people will bang the ***t out of my doors.

I found out how long the hood is the morning after I got it. Marked up the lip pretty badly. I touched it up and it doesn't look bad from more than 2 feet away (a GPW feature :-) ), but now I am -very- careful how I park. The rest (park in a visible end spot far from the entry, etc.) goes without saying. Here is another one - in parking lots be careful not to park in places at the bottom of hills where a carelessly parked car might 'come loose' to visit yours! I am talking about the same kind of place that shopping carts will migrate to....
