Anyone ever relocate the trunk button or added a small switch somewhere?

You have two reasonable ways of opening the trunk. Sounds like this is far more trouble than it's worth.

Do the mod so you can unlock the trunk with the keyfob when the key is in the ignition.

Well, THAT sounds handy. As I get older, the twisting around to pop the trunk does get tougher and tougher.

Hey, I'm just glad the S2000 isn't a French car, or the pushbutton in the console cubby would be the wiper switch.

I added a new switch into the dash. Used a 2012 Malibu switch and swapped the inside led light to illuminate amber to match the stock lighting. The oringial trunk switch works too.
