Hi guys,

Anyone out there in Ithaca, NY or in Upstate NY? I really really wanna find someone who is near me who can atleast give me a short ride in the S2000 so I can feel the suspension of the car etc. Anyone in Syracuse or Binghamton or Elmira or somewhere not too far.. I'm willing to drive out there.

The local Honda of Ithaca has no S2000 and no brochures... so sad.

I'm a grad student at Cornell in Ithaca.

I passed along Jeff's e-mail to Jimmy last week so I was thinking you two might have hooked up already.
I'd offer you a ride in mine, but it is not due until April.
I placed my order for '02 S2000 from Holtz, all details in last post.
A search for Ithaca ought to bring it up.
Let me know if you are coming up to Rochester!

I live near Watkins Glen. On Sunday, the Glen Region SCCA is holding an Autocross in Montour Falls. If you can stop by there, you can ride along with me on some runs.

My Spa '02 S2 is on order but the '90 CRX-Si is always up for a road trip.
Where will the AutoX be in Montour Falls?

The AutoX is at National Healthcare (the former Jamesway store) on Route 14, across from the NY State Fire Academy. If you want to participate, registration closes at 9:30 sharp.

It would be great to meet you, I hope you do make the trip. Another member has a '01 Spa Yellow, but I'm not sure will be there Sunday.

Thanks for the response. Rochester wouldn't be too far, I've been there several times. Once to check out the Acura and Lexus dealer since my friend was getting a car back then. I think I might go check out Eric's car near Watkins Glen since it's closer. What are you going to do with the S2000 when it snows like crazy?

I emailed Jeff. If it works out, I'll be taking a trip to the autocross event just to check his car out and meet him, and you, if you are going to show up. So, what's the plan? You going to take the drive down? C'mon!!!!!

Yes Jeff you were right, bad typing, I e-mailed Eric, I might go down to Montour Falls on Sunday, hard to say, so much to do on the weekends!

Jimmy- I'm glad someone is able to hook you up. If only I had an S2000 I sure would! Mine is due in April '02, order already placed, thank you Roy at HOLTZ.

As far as the snow in concerned, I have not driven the CRX-Si in the snow since I lowered it. With about 3" of ground clearance it just would not work. My S2000 will not go out in the snow, I like my Nissan XE-V6 4x4 Pickup too much!
